AAMS Alberta Arbitration & Mediation Society

The Alberta Arbitration and Mediation Society (AAMS) is a not-for-profit organization, in existence since 1982, engaged in the promotion, education, and practice of arbitration and mediation throughout the province of Alberta. Membership in the Society is open to anyone interested in Alternative Dispute Resolution. The Society is currently one of the largest and most active provincial affiliates of the ADR Institute of Canada, Inc. (ADRI) and is responsible for prescreening candidates to ADRI for the designations of Chartered Arbitrator, Chartered Mediator and the new designation of Qualified Mediator.
